• Face verification: Profile photos and a live selfie used to confirm you are 21 or older, match your photos, and meet our safety requirements. Selfie images are stored in restricted admin systems and are never shown to other users.
• Communications: Messages you send to other users through the App.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Location data: Approximate location to show you people nearby and calculate distance. Your exact location is never shared with other users.
• Usage data: Swipes, matches, and app activity.
• Device information: Device type, operating system, unique identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Online status: Your current activity status and last active time.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from service providers that help us operate verification and safety features.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Verify your identity and confirm eligibility to use Incognito Dating (age and identity verification)
• Show you relevant matches based on your preferences, location, and filters
• Enable communication between matched users
• Send push notifications about matches, messages, and account activity
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activity
• Respond to reports of abuse or violations of our Community Guidelines
• Improve and personalize the App
• Comply with legal obligations

3. What We Never Share With Other Users

Certain information is collected for verification purposes only and is never shown to other users, including:

• Your legal name (if you provide one during verification)
• Your exact home address or precise location
• Your live selfie verification image
• Your email address and account credentials

Other users only see your display name, age, gender, photos, bio, hobbies, relationship status, voice note, verification badge, and approximate distance.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Other users: Limited profile information as described in Section 3, based on your visibility settings
• Service providers: Third parties who help us operate the App, including cloud hosting (Supabase), identity verification providers, and email/notification delivery services, under confidentiality obligations
• Law enforcement: When required by law, legal process, or to protect the safety of our users
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections

5. Data Retention

• We retain your profile information for as long as your account is active.
• If you request account deletion, your account and associated data will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period, during which you may cancel the deletion by logging back in.
• Selfie verification data is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after account deletion where required for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. After that period, selfie images are permanently deleted from our systems.
• Chat messages and match history may be retained for a limited period after deletion where needed for safety investigations or legal obligations, then deleted.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update: You can view and update most profile information directly in the App.
• Location: You can disable location permissions in your device settings at any time, though this may limit distance-based matching.
• Notifications: You can manage notification preferences in the App's Settings.
• Account suspension: You can temporarily hide your profile from Discover without deleting your account.
• Account deletion: You can request permanent deletion of your account and data, subject to the 30-day grace period described above.

7. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data storage, access controls, and restricted admin access to sensitive verification data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Incognito Dating is intended for individuals aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. Our identity verification process is designed to confirm age. If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 21, we will terminate the account and delete associated data.

9. International Users

Incognito Dating is available worldwide. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries where our service providers operate. We apply the same privacy and security standards regardless of where you access the App.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through additional notice within the App.
